It has been a month... a whole month since I cut my tendon and had surgery to repair it.

So how's the recovery going? Who knows!

Whether or not the repair actually worked, whether or not the tendon is even still attached from after the surgery, is anyone's guess at this point, including the surgeon's.

Evidence for it being a failure?
About four nights after the surgery, I was awoken by a very sharp pain, and it felt like something inside my foot had snapped, and I cannot lift my big toe on its own.

Evidence for the chance that it might still be connected/ hanging on just slightly/ disconnected but still healing on its own?
When I lift all of my other toes, my big toe lifts a little bit as well.

My next appointment is in about 2 weeks. We'll discuss the possibility of doing another surgery at that point. In the meantime, I have to wear a walking boot on it all the time. At least I'm off crutches, though. So much grief, all because I had a stupid split second of clumsiness... I just want my foot to function properly, damn it! >.<

I'm not trying to keep things from you. I try to make things clear, but it seems like whenever you're unsure about something, you never bother to ask about it. When you're unclear or uncertain about something that involves me, ask me instead of sitting around and feeling resentful over some false sense of deception.
